Privacy Policy

BCFG has always respected the privacy and confidentiality of individuals. It will continue to do so by treating all personal information as confidential and by handling it in accordance with the Privacy Act and the National Privacy Principles.

 For the purposes of this policy paper, “BCFG”, “we”, “us”, and “our” are references to Navmost Pty Limited trading as Business Capital Financial Group, of  308/10 Century Circuit Baulkham Hills NSW 2153 (ABN: 39 899 082 262)

 Personal information refers to that information about an individual whose identity is apparent or can be ascertained from the information.

 During the course of its activities, BCFG may collect, record, use and disclose personal information about natural persons for the following purposes

 · To carry out a valid assessment of an applicant, customer or guarantor under a finance agreement, such as a factoring agreement and/or an invoice discounting agreement with BCFG;

· To fulfil a general inquiry made by you, or a request for sales and advertising materials

· To improve our level of service to you

Mostly, information comes direct from the persons or from their agents or intermediaries. Sometimes, it comes from third parties with a connection to the person. The type of information collected will vary considerably depending on the nature of the arrangements with BCFG and the person’s connection with the arrangements.

 It may include identity information about-

· Name, address and current contact details;

· Date of birth, driver’s licence particulars, etc;

· Employment and/or business history; and

· Financial circumstances, income and history.

BCFG will not disclose any identifier (such as tax file number), which has been assigned by any government agency, except as required by law to do so.

BCFG will not collect sensitive information which would reveal your racial origin, political or religious opinions, trade union membership, or other details about health, disability or sexuality.

The purpose for which the information is collected, as well as its nature can result in some personal information being disclosed to parties outside BCFG but only where there is a valid reason for that to happen.

External parties to whom information may be disclosed to include (but are not limited to)-

· Credit reporting agencies;

· Other credit providers including securitised lenders to BCFG;

· Auditors, solicitors, valuers, and other professional consultants;

· Trade, commercial and/or mercantile agents and auctioneers;

· Insolvency practitioners such as Administrators, Receivers, Liquidators;

· Government Departments or Agencies (where required or authorised by Law.)

As a matter of course, BCFG will require anyone to whom personal information is made available to respect the privacy of the person to whom it relates. Internal policies within BCFG are committed to maintain and safeguard your personal information from unauthorised use, disclosure, access, alteration, destruction and accidental loss. We are committed to staff procedures to comply with these policies. BCFG is committed to ensuring that all information held is accurate, up to date and complete, and it is the individuals responsibility to notify BCFG in writing when any details held are changed in any way, by any means.

Where we hold information about you, we will make that information available to you on request unless the following circumstances apply:-

· The access would have a detrimental effect on the health, wellbeing or privacy of any individual

· It is unlawful to provide access

· Denying access is specifically authorised by law

· Providing access would prejudice any negotiations, investigation, detection or prosecution of unlawful activity or suspected unlawful activity.

Any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, BCFG must be notified in writing to this effect. The records will be amended within 14 days to reflect the accurate, complete and up to date information.
